Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school prior to moving to Ohio with her family in mid-70s. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career working in the Chicago area theatres for a short time. Then she moved to film and television. Anna's first major part was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. At the beginning of 1990, she was a frequent guest on TV and in films like Seinfeld or NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. Skyler was her role as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully was one of her roles. Gunn has also appeared on stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio series that was released that will air in 2022. The romance between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and the eventual end of their relationship mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final years of life.
